A Message From Superintendent Jon Lev
A Word from our Superintendent:
“Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities!
Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers, you cannot be successful or happy”
Norman Vincent Peale
As educators, an important goal of ours is to do our best to help our students be successful. When I visit classrooms I look for the adults to be using language that creates a positive culture. I want to see children working in small groups, interacting with each other with a positive excitement, the adults moving around interacting with the kids and everyone engaged in their learning. I do see this at Gabriel Abbott Memorial every day I am in the school. They set the bar high in Florida and do their best to ensure that administrators also try their best to provide the help and support that the staff may need to reach their goals. It is clear to me, as I spend time in the school, that there is a caring environment in this building towards each other as well as towards the students. It takes hard work, perseverance and a lot of patience and understanding to achieve our goals.
